We are looking forward to hosting a new Lunch and Learn workshop series in partnership with colleagues across Suffolk and North East Essex. These sessions were created to support practical improvement in primary care.
The sessions have been shaped with local teams, reflecting the priorities and pressures being felt across the system. They are designed as short, focused spaces where people can step back from the immediate pace of work and explore how improvement can be applied in a way that fits everyday practice.
The workshops are built around shared learning, simple tools and real examples from practice. The intention is to make improvement feel more accessible and more connected to what teams are already doing.
Across the series we will focus on three areas that consistently matter for practices:
- Understanding Demand and Capacity, not just as data, but as a way of making better decisions about how appointments are offered and where pressure is building.
- Workforce Planning, looking at how skills are being used across the team, where gaps may be emerging and how practices can feel more confident about the mix they are building for the future.
- Total Triage, creating space to think through what it takes to make the model work in a way that feels safe, sustainable and right for each practice.
Each topic is delivered through short, one hour VIRTUAL sessions, spaced to allow time for reflection and small changes between meetings. The aim is to support practical progress rather than just discussion.
This is about creating a learning space that feels useful, supportive and grounded.
