Xytal, in collaboration with VWV, will be hosting the third in a series of webinars for those working in primary care to explore the 2020/21 PCN DES Contract, the implementation challenges, and the changes that will translate into new ways of working. This short, focused session have been designed to explore and discuss the readiness of PCNs as we head ever closer toward the 31st May participation deadline.

Don’t miss out - our third session will be on 20th May at 11.30am.

The session will be hosted by Daniel Vincent, Practice Manager at Ryalls Park Medical Centre. Joining Daniel and providing their expert insight and advice will be Nicci Hilson, PCN Manager, Paignton & Brixham PCN, and Mark Jarvis, Healthcare Specialist Partner at leading healthcare law specialists VWV.

Following a short presentation, you will have an opportunity to discuss the topics covered and we do encourage you to contribute your own thoughts and experiences. Our first session on 6th May will last approx. 50mins and will focus on:

  • What is in the DES and what are the deadlines?
  • What do practices and PCNs need to be doing now?
  • Considering the legal and contractual implications - with a focus on governance arrangements under the Network Agreement?

In our following webinar sessions (to be held at the same time on the 13th & 20th May) we will be exploring additional impacts of the DES including the practicalities of new roles and the skills mix that will be required, as well as how to manage the collaborations required to fulfil the service specifications.

We have already had a lot of interest in all three sessions and participant numbers are limited, so reserve your place now to avoid missing out.

We can create a bespoke solution to help with any particular issue your organisation is facing.
