What Xytal Does

Xytal supports NHS teams to improve how care is planned and delivered across neighbourhoods, systems and digital pathways.

We are an accredited Delivery Partner to NHS England’s Primary and Community Transformation and Improvement Team, with a particular focus on neighbourhood working, primary and secondary care interfaces and digital transformation.

Practice level support and improvement (PLS)

Through Practice Level Support and improvement programmes, we work with GP practices and primary care teams to improve access, demand and capacity, and overall ways of working. This is programme was previously know as the General Practice Improvement Programme (GPIP). Our support includes:

  • Coaching and facilitation for practice leadership teams
  • Process improvement for appointments, repeat prescribing and workflow
  • Use of data to understand demand, capacity and bottlenecks
  • Changes that save clinical and admin time while improving experience
